Please join the Red Cross for their Individual Preparedness Skills Workshop on Thursday, March 21, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at 444 Sherman Street, Denver, 80203.
This four hour, in depth course expands the traditional Get a Kit, Make a Plan, Be Informed message and gets down and dirty on the how-to’s of disaster preparation. Learn how to prepare yourself, your household and your community to be ready for and resilient during disasters.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide participants with the skills needed to be self-reliant for an extended period of time. Learn how to increase the capacity of your community to survive disasters by participating in preparedness, response and recovery activities. The primary objective is to enable participants to prepare themselves, their households, neighborhoods, communities, and places of worship for emergencies.
