#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or traditional giving like donating & volunteering, everyone has something to give!
Join the Movement
Spark the Change Colorado provides a variety of volunteer-driven programs across the state that support a variety of causes. Learn a little about each of our programs and, if they align with your personal passions, consider allocating your gift!

Neighbors Helping Neighbors- Food Packing Events:
The pandemic has wreaked havoc on food banks and pantries like never before. Join us in packaging meals to be distributed to families in need via local food banks. This is a safe and fun volunteer event for the whole family. Multiple shifts are available, so you can pick the time that works for you! Neighbors Helping Neighbors- It’s the Colorado Way!
**We also have a packing event planned for December 18th in Walsenburg, Colorado. Sign up link coming soon; contact Josie Boynton for more details.
Join a Nonprofit Board!
We’re reimagining our traditionally in person BoardMatch Connection Events to accommodate a virtual, statewide concept! In our new BoardMatch Connection Events, we’ll bring organizations seeking Board Candidates and Volunteers looking to give together in a virtual space to learn, share ideas, and make lasting connections. Spots are limited and registration is required.
