Welcome Trenton Mai Alley! Spark’s New Disaster Services Program Coordinator

Trenton Mai Alley (He/Him) has joined the Spark the Change Colorado Team as the Disaster Services Program Coordinator.

“I have always considered myself to be servant-hearted,” says Trenton. Originally, Trenton went to school for criminal justice to pursue a career in law enforcement. After the adoption of five children, he decided law enforcement was no longer the best option for him. After helping in past disasters & emergencies in Colorado, Trenton found a passion in making a difference when people need it the most with disaster response work.

Trenton’s first role with Spark was as a volunteer in 2022 helping to support fire victims and volunteers in the Broomfield donation center following the devastating Marshall Wildfires.

Trenton has an extensive disaster training background, having completed multiple FEMA trainings, including: Introduction to Incident Command Systems (ICS-100), Introduction to the National Incident Management System (IS-700B), Basic Incident Command System for Initial Response (ICS-200), National Response Framework (IS-800), NIMS Intrastate Mutual Aid (IS-706), and National Incident Management System Resources Management (IS-703B).

In his free time, Trenton enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing. When asked what he is most excited about with his new position, Trenton shared, “Creating positive volunteer opportunities while simultaneously helping serve Coloradoans in need.”

We are so excited to have you on the team, Trenton! We are beyond grateful to have someone with so much expertise and so many skills leading our disaster response program!
